This latest update to the LISTENTO desktop application, available as a public beta version in the first quarter of 2025 boasts multiple new features for audio professionals.
Users can enjoy an updated channel count: they will be able to stream and receive up to 128 channels of lossless audio simultaneously and receive up to four different LISTENTO streams from different transmitters in the application’s receiver at once (with the combined channel count capped at 128).
Users will also be able to utilize the new Local Video File Player, enabling them to sync local video files to incoming LISTENTO streams to review audio to picture remotely in real time (perfect for composers and music editors working in film and TV).
With the new A/B/C/D File Player, users can also play back four audio files simultaneously and transmit them through LISTENTO. The four files will play in sync and can be selected for playback by the Transmitter to A/B/C/D. New Talkback and Listen Back functionality will also be available as part of the release.
Additionally, users will be able to share the ability to stream with their collaborators through a simple invitation system.
The updates further reinforce LISTENTO as the go-to solution for professionals seeking reliable, high-quality remote workflows for music production, mixing and post-production.
