We're pleased to anounce that our Mac-based virtual patchbay software suite has gained an additional plug-in that will allow multiple systems on the same network to communicate via the widely adopted NDI protocol.

Released in June 2024, Omnibus 3.0 is a powerful routing solution that makes it possible to route audio between applications, as well as to and from hardware I/O devices. It now includes a new companion plug-in, Minibus, making it possible to connect multiple computers and share audio between them via NDI. Audiomovers say that the combination represents a significant leap forward for audio professionals, enabling users to configure multiple machines for tasks like A/B comparisons of immersive mixes, multi-channel monitor system switching, connecting multiple machines into studio or live environments, or connecting to immersive audio-ready interfaces.

Minibus will retail for $49.99 as a standalone product, and will be included for free as part of Omnibus 3.0. Audiomovers are currently inviting users to take part in beta testing, with a full release date yet to be announced.
